BioINSouth

I have been financed as a Task and Research Unit Leader in the Horizon EU Project BioINSouth.

The BioINSouth project is dedicated to supporting decision-makers in integrating ecological limits into regional bioeconomy strategies, with a strong focus on circular bio-based activities. Our goal is to develop guidelines and digital tools that facilitate the adoption of innovative methodologies for assessing environmental impacts across multiple industrial bio-based systems.

By enhancing regional competitiveness and innovation capacity, BioINSouth contributes to the EU’s fair and green transition. A key focus of our work will be advancing methodologies for environmental impact assessment and circularity, underpinned by the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework. The comprehensive toolkit we are developing will be instrumental in guiding decision-makers toward more sustainable bioeconomic practices.

Stay tuned for updates on our progress.
